Amaterasu is one of the Heroes in TEPPEN. She was the sixth hero added to the game after its release, following Felyne.
She was announced on September 18, 2020 at the TEPPEN HEADLINE #4 broadcast and was released on October 1 alongside the expansion titled The Tale of Amatsu no Kuni via the Version 2.7 Update.[2]
